We allow a wide range of quality-of-life (QOL) client-side mods to enhance your gameplay experience.
As a general rule:
✅ If a mod does not give you an unfair advantage over other players, it is usually allowed.
❌ Mods that provide unfair gameplay advantages (such as X-Ray, seed cracking, or similar exploits) are strictly prohibited.

This is not a complete list of every allowed or disallowed mod. There are thousands of mods available, and this page is meant to give a general idea of what is acceptable.
Use any mods at your own risk. We do not develop or maintain the individual mods included, and we are not responsible for any issues that may occur. This list is offered purely for convenience and to enhance your gameplay.
If you are ever unsure whether a mod is allowed, please ask in Discord before using it.
❌ Not Allowed #
The following types of mods are not allowed:
- X-Ray mods or texture packs
- Automatic mining tools (Baritone etc)
- Seed cracking tools
- Automated combat (KillAura, trigger bots, etc.)
- Any mod that reveals hidden players, bases, or structures
If it provides information you shouldn’t normally have – it’s probably not allowed.
📷 Freecam #
Freecam is allowed for inspecting builds, redstone, and visual projects only.
It may not be used to:
- Interact with blocks/entities whilst in Freecam – options such as Allow Interaction must be off
- Locate structures, caves, ores, hidden areas
- Gain any competitive advantage
We suggest using Freecam that does not have the ability to go thru blocks, such as Freecam (Fair Play).
✅ Allowed Mods #
Whilst allowed, some mods may still have certain limitations or not fully work on the server.
All mods included in the Beacoland Recommended Modpack are allowed.
