Player Rules #
1. Respect All Players & Team Members #
- Beacoland has a zero-tolerance policy for hate speech.
- Any use of slurs, derogatory language, toxicity, or harassment—whether directed at a person or not—will result in a ban.
- This includes usernames containing offensive or disrespectful terms.
2. No Griefing #
- Griefing of any kind is strictly prohibited.
- This includes altering, destroying, or modifying any builds, bases, or structures that do not belong to you.
- All builds are private unless explicitly marked otherwise.
3. No Stealing #
- Beacoland is a trust-based server with no land or chest claims.
- Do not take anything that does not belong to you.
- Chests, bases, farms, and shops are private unless clearly marked as “free” or “free to take.”
- Raiding bases or farms is not allowed under any circumstances.
4. Hacking & Mods #
- The use of hacked clients, X-ray, fly hacks, or any other unfair advantage is prohibited.
- Abuse of the server seed or the use of unapproved mods is not allowed.

5. No Duping (Except TNT) #
- TNT duping is the only form of duplication that is allowed.
- No other item duplication is permitted.
6. Consent-Based PvP #
- Beacoland is a co-op-focused server, not a PvP server.
- You may not attack or kill another player unless they have given clear permission.
7. No Spamming or Advertising #
- Spamming will result in a warning. Continued spamming may result in further action.
- Advertising other Minecraft servers, regardless of size, is strictly prohibited.
- You may share links to personal content (YouTube, Imgur, Reddit, etc.), but you may not promote other servers in any way.
8. Team Members Have the Final Say #
- The rules exist to keep Beacoland safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone.
- If something disrupts this environment, the team will address it at their discretion.
Global Rules #
9. English-Only in Global Chat #
- To ensure clear communication, only English is permitted in public chat.
- Other languages may be used in private messages or local chat (
/l).
10. Spawn Area Protection #
- Do not mine, break blocks, chop trees, or otherwise alter the spawn area.
- Building within 500 blocks of spawn is only allowed with team permission and must be lag-friendly.
11. Respect Other Players’ Space #
- Build at least 200 blocks away from other players unless you have their permission.
12. Nether Portal & Tunnel Rules #
- Nether tunnels must be a maximum of 9 blocks wide, including walls.
- Tunnels must remain between the pillars of the main tunnel.
- Tunnels must not block ice-boat paths.
- All tunnel entrances must be slabbed.
- All tunnels must be clearly labeled with the resident’s name.
13. The End Island #
- Mining the obsidian platform is not allowed.
- The main End island is a public area.
- Farms and builds on the main End Island require team approval.
14. Streaming & Recording #
- All streamers and content creators must enable the LIVE tag (
/toggles). - This informs other players that they may be recorded or streamed.
Lag & Performance Rules #
15. Villager Breeders & Trading Halls #
- Maximum 30 villagers per trading hall.
- Maximum 3 villagers per breeder.
- Villagers must be kept in 1×1 holding cells.
- Avoid excessive hoppers and redstone near trading halls.
- Trading halls should be built in unloaded chunks, at least 6+ chunks away from bases or other frequently loaded areas.
16. Large Farm Spacing #
- Do not stack multiple large farms in a single area.
- All large farms must have an off switch.
- Large farms must be spaced out.
- Avoid excessive hoppers; use chests, water streams, or droppers where possible.
17. Gold & XP Nether Portal Farms #
- Maximum of 8 portal modules (23×23×23 each), or 82,000 portal blocks total.
- Measures must be taken to prevent excessive piglin accumulation to reduce lag.
18. Chunk Loaders #
- All chunk loaders must be reported to a team member.
- Chunk loaders must have an off switch.
- Only one chunk loader per player is allowed at any time.
- Chunk loaders should not run unattended for extended periods.
19. AFK-ing #
- AFK-ing at public farms is not allowed.
- AFK-ing at private farms is permitted, provided the farm is lag-friendly.
- If a farm is suspected of causing lag, a team member may kick players temporarily for testing purposes.
20. Entity Cramming #
- Entity cramming is discouraged as a method for killing mobs.
- If entity cramming is found to be causing lag, the team may require immediate changes, including a full redesign of the farm.
21. Moss-Based Bonemeal Farms #
- Moss-based bonemeal farms are limited to a maximum of four dispensers for the moss production component.
- Farms exceeding this limit, or multiple similar farms within the same loaded area, may cause lag.
- You may be asked to reduce or remove such farms if they impact performance.
22. Intentional Lag Machines 🆕 #
- Machines or contraptions designed specifically to cause lag, disrupt gameplay, or stress the server are strictly prohibited.
- This includes intentionally unoptimized redstone, excessive entity generation, or similar setups created with the purpose of degrading performance.
- The team may require the immediate removal or modification of such machines.
23. Alt Accounts #
- Alt accounts are permitted but must be declared and registered with the team.
- Using an undeclared alt account may result in the temporary suspension of all associated accounts.
- During periods of increased lag or reduced performance, alt account usage may be temporarily restricted.
- To register an alt account, submit an alt account ticket on Discord including:
- The alt account name
- The associated primary account name
24. Copper Golems 🆕 #
- Copper Golems are limited to a maximum of 15 per chunk.
- This limit is a starting point and may be adjusted in the future based on performance and server stability.
- If Copper Golems are found to be contributing to lag, the team may request reductions or changes.
Temporary Performance Adjustments #
- During periods of high player activity, season launches, or performance instability, the team may temporarily tighten or adjust performance-related rules to protect server stability.
Think “Us” Before “Me” #
Beacoland is a shared experience. Every player plays a part in keeping the server running smoothly.
By working together to reduce lag and respect each other’s space, everyone benefits from a better gameplay experience.
