New Donor Tier System & Ranks

As of Beacoland Season 2, we will be switching from a single donor rank to a brand new tier system! To allow for this, everyone will start as a member when they join and you will be able to purchase the tiers and within 10 minutes your rank will be automatically updated!

The tier system is as follows:

  • Tier 1 – £5+
  • Tier 2 – £10+
  • Tier 3 – £20+
  • Tier 4 – £40+
  • Tier 5 – £60+
  • Tier 6 – £100+

These tiers are cumulative, what does that mean? It means you do not have to donate the exact amounts. For example; you don’t need to pay £40 exactly, you can pay £20 and then the next month pay another £20 and earn Tier 4! It remembers you based on your IGN and gives you exactly what you’ve paid for!

What are the new ranks?

The ranks themselves will look familiar, the difference is the colours of names and the colours of pluses depending on your in-game rank. The ranks are as followed:

  • [Guest] – Gray
  • [Member] – Yellow

Members who have donated will receive the following coloured [Member+] rank:

  • Tier 1 [Member+] – Gold
  • Tier 2 [Member+] – Green
  • Tier 3 [Member+] – Pink
  • Tier 4 [Member+] – Blue
  • Tier 5 [Member+] – Purple
  • Tier 6 [Member+] – Cyan

Guides and higher who have donated will receive a “+” at the end of their rank in the above tier colours!

  • [Guide] – Tour Guide
  • [Agent] – Agent
  • [Jr. Mod] – Junior Moderator
  • [Mod] – Moderator
  • [Sr.Agent] – Senior Agent
  • [SA] – Social Admin
  • [Sr. Mod] – Senior Moderator
  • [Jr. Admin] – Junior Admin
  • [Admin] – Admin

Rule Changes

Our current rules apply with the additional extra rules as following:

5.)  Be Lag Efficient

  • Villagers & Villager Halls – Breeders and halls must be 6+ chunks away from your base and 6+ chunks away from each other. 50 villagers max per hall and 3 villagers max for your breeder. Villagers in halls must be in a 1×1 cell. Reducing the number of villagers actively being loaded on the server is currently one of the most important means of reducing lag. Building your villager trading hall in unloaded chunks and only going there when you need to trade will help increase the TPS drastically.
  • Separate large laggier farms – When building farms, do not stack multiple large farms. Having a big farm and a couple of small farms nearby is fine but having multiple big laggy farms all within render distance of your AFK spot causes a lot of lag with no way to get rid of it. If you have questions about laggy farms, message one of the staff team.

These are the main 2 new rules we will be enforcing. There will also be a guide provided to help you help us to maintain the server’s TPS so that everyone can have a good time!

Shopping District

Our Shopping District will be in the Nether again this season but bigger and better than ever! I’m sure many of you would have hoped for an overworld shopping district but the aim of season 2 is to be a bigger, better, more refined version of season 1. This will symbolise our growth as a server and showcase everything yet to come!

What’s different about the Shopping District?

1. Different Plot Sizes and Costs! This season plots will be available in:

  • 11 x 11 x 22 = 64D
  • 9 x 9 x 22 = 48D
  • 11 x 11 “Apple Stores” = 48D & 32D (Depending on location)
  • 5 x 5 “Arcade Plot” = 16D
  • Stalls (not like the flee market we currently have)

2. New Value-Based Plot System! Instead of 1 or 2 plots per person, each person will be allowed to purchase plots up to the value of 64D. This is equivalent to 1 of the large 11x11x22 plots (64D) or 1 of the 9x9x2 plots plus a 5×5 Arcade Plot (48D+16D=64D)

Custom Advancements

There is the possibility for us to add custom advancements to the server but we want your feedback!

It wouldn’t be anything crazy, we are a semi-vanilla Minecraft server after all. It would be extra advancements to make the server more fun and even more competitive! You would not get extra rewards but you could earn experience points that allow you to level up and reach the top of a leaderboard and earn bragging rights!

Automatic Inventories

Automatic Inventores does what it says on the tin. It helps you to keep your inventories and chest organised with ease! You’ll be able to shift + left-click chests and dump your inventory straight into it and your chests will be automatically organised upon opening! Sounds great right? Let us know what you think!
